The dimensions of a standard GMA pallet are typically 48 inches by 40 inches, which allows for efficient handling and storage in warehouses and transportation vehicles. These pallets are constructed from high-quality wood and are built to withstand heavy loads, making them ideal for transporting goods in various industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, and consumer goods.
ISPM15 certification involves treating the wood through heat treatment or fumigation with methyl bromide to eliminate any potential pests. This process is crucial for international shipping as it complies with global phytosanitary regulations aimed at protecting ecosystems from invasive species.
GMA pallets are crafted keeping in mind the requirements in the Canadian and USA markets. Like the EURO and the ISO Pallets, these too are available in 2 different variants – Standard GMA and Modified GMA.
Standard GMA– Popularly known as ‘Stinger Pallet’ and ‘Notch Pallet’, these are available in the size of 48” x 40”. Keep in mind that these are not suitable for handling equipment’s such as forklifts and pallet trucks.
Modified GMA– Unlike the Standard GMA pallets, these can be used to handle equipments like forklifts and pallet trucks. Modified GMA pallets are available in a
Standard size of 48” x 40”.
